        On a semi-recurring but mostly sporatic schedule b.michaael releases mixes under the series name FREE DRIVING LESSONS. These cover a multitude of genres new and old, but tend to be geared toward a common theme or tone. In addition to FDL there have been a number of guest mixes showcasing accross the internet with contributions to Fade, LYL, and Threads Radio.

Branton Olfert (b.michaael) is a Vancouver-based composer, producer, and sound artist working to create multi-layered soundscapes from the sonic intersection of synthetic and organic worlds. Informed by early electronic music, high fantasy, and structuralism, b.michaael’s work synthesizes MIDI sequences and sonic textures into detailed sound collages. Recent projects explore the verdancy and lushness of Environmental and New Age music as channeled into a modern, synaptic style.
